K-2 News
The K-2 Dance Program is tomorrow after school. Please send a note in your child's agenda if they are attending.

Parents, you are encouraged to come to our Curriculum night next Wednesday night. It will run from 6:00pm-7:00pm and will be held in the Cafeteria. We will have activities set up that we use on a daily basis, which support the curriculum outcomes.

Grade 1 News
In Literacy, we learned a new strategy called Use the Pictures. When you are not sure of a word, it helps to look at the pictures to see if the word matches the picture. The reason we are learning all of these strategies is to become better readers and writers :) We also shared some memories of the best day we have ever had. Then we wrote down our ideas, and over the course of the week we are going to write a retell.

In Math, we sorted 2-D shapes and then explained our sorting rule. We also built our own robots using 3-D shapes and talked about the various shapes we used to build them.
