Grade 1 News
In Literacy, we read a non-fiction book called Camping at the Lake. Then we each wrote what had happened in the story. This is called a retell. We are going to be spending time working on retells for the next two weeks. To practice our spelling words from last week, we took turns spelling the words and then putting them where they belong on our word wall. To practice our aw/au sounds we used letters and built our spelling words.

K-2 News
Remember that the Dance program is tomorrow afterschool from 2:00-2:50 in the Cafeteria. Please write a note in your child's agenda saying that they are staying and who is picking them up. Also, tomorrow we are doing Jump Rope for Heart, so please send in any money your child has collected.
